Quiet Space Finder
The Quiet Space Finder app is designed to help users locate peaceful spots by offering detailed information on noise levels and crowd density in real time. The app sources data from Google Maps and BestTime.app to provide accurate and up-to-date insights into various locations, making it easy for users to find quiet areas for work, study, or relaxation. The app’s functionality is particularly useful for those seeking to optimise their productivity by selecting the most tranquil environments available at any given time.

PCConnect puts the power to control your computer at your fingertips with the ease of a single click, enabling you to sleep, shut down, restart, hibernate, lock, or sign out of your PC from virtually any location in the world. Additionally, it offers the indispensable feature of setting reminders that guarantee you won’t miss a beat, by temporarily disabling the PC’s keyboard and superimposing a vivid red overlay containing the reminder text and a dismiss button, it ensures that important tasks and appointments are never overlooked.
ICU Communicator
During the summer of 2022, I did work experience at a consulting company called PA Consulting. By doing this, me and four others created the ICU communicator. The ICU communicator is a device that is put on an ICU patient’s bed and when the patient is in need, the patient will press a button on the device and then it will come up as a request on a tablet on the nurse’s side. For the request to be classed as completed, the nurse must tap her card on the device. This is to prevent nurses from pretending that they have done it even though they haven’t. I worked on the electrical and software part of the project which developed my programming and electrical skills. On the celebration day, I won the ingenuity award and received a certificate for this. I was working in a team when completing the project and by doing this, I had improved my communication, teamwork skills and problem-solving skills.
An Automatic Fridge/Freezer Closer
I designed and developed an ingenious device known as the automatic fridge/freezer closer. This innovative creation serves a vital purpose by automatically closing the fridge or freezer to ensure its proper functioning. On the right side, the device features a timer mechanism that initiates the closing process after two minutes. Integration with voice assistant technology enables users to simply say, “Alexa, trigger close the fridge or freezer” to activate the closing mechanism. In cases where no command is given, the device still ensures the fridge or freezer is securely closed after two minutes. This solution proves to be highly beneficial as it effectively addresses the common issue of forgetting to close the fridge or freezer, which can potentially damage the motor or lead to the formation of excessive ice. By automating the closing process, this device promotes convenience, and efficiency, and helps maintain the longevity of the fridge or freezer.
My first program: A Calculator
Leveraging the power of Python and Tkinter, I have crafted a remarkable calculator that boasts a multitude of functionalities. This captivating creation not only performs complex mathematical operations but also showcases an aesthetically pleasing design. By incorporating a vibrant colour scheme, I have brought a visually appealing touch to the calculator’s interface. Furthermore, I have taken customization to the next level by adding a unique logo to the taskbar, infusing the calculator with a sense of personalization and identity.
